I’m a DJ and Producer based in the UK and founder of Pure Ravers; a playful collective offering daytime dance parties with banging beats and bouncy moves!

DJ // Producer @ aNu makes noise

Growing up in Sheffield, Anu was heavily influenced by the vibrant rave and electronic music scene around her and was keen to get involved. Under the umbrella of aNu makes noise, she has now been DJing and producing music since 2012 and is an active part of the UK scene. Currently based in Edinburgh, Anu holds various local DJ residencies and has multiple EP’s and mixes released with You Call That Radio, Solid Sound FM and Long Live The Animals. She has performed at notable events such as Orbit Wellbeing Festival, Lindisfarne Festival, Knockengorroch Festival and Contraband Circus at The Loco Club, Bristol.

Music & Movement Facilitator @ Pure Ravers

Pure Ravers is the creative outlet of Anu’s love for music and movement. The playful, lemon themed, events promote energetic and engaging dance parties that inspire participants to connect through immersive experiences and play. Anu trained as a dancer throughout her youth and draws on her skills and qualifications in music and fitness facilitation to ensure that each session is not only fun but also safe and enjoyable for all levels.

Health & Wellbeing Professional & Educator.

Anu has a diverse background working with individuals with additional support needs in various healthcare, creative and educational settings and is currently a Student Wellbeing Advisor and Lecturer in Sound Production at Edinburgh College. With this skill set and experience she is a confident and capable workshop facilitator who’s values are firmly rooted in promoting accessibility and inclusion at events.
